 My name is Samuel Jones. I'm a heart baby and this is my story. My mum put this site together so that we could share our story with others. One in 100 children is born with a congenital heart defect, but thankfully we live in an era with medicine so advanced, and surgeons so skilled that most of us can be saved. "Thank goodness", say my mum and dad!
I was diagnosed with Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA) at Mum's 18 week scan. My story is filled with frustrations, elation and sadness. But mostly it's about how God's grace can see you through anything! NB. Mum is not in any way a qualified medical person, so all the 'medical speak' comes straight from her memory, and may not be 100% accurate!
